Gig Buddy - Portsmouth

A gig buddy is a volunteer that is matched with a person with a learning disability to go to gigs, socials and share hobbies together.

Whether you are into live music, theatre, outdoor activities or crafts, use your love of socialising and fun to help someone else in your community get out and enjoy themselves a couple of times a month.

No Pay, Non-Profit, Care, Friend, Young, Youth, Old, Teens


Being a gig buddy is serious fun, if you enjoy getting out and meeting new people and you would like to help someone else do that too then all we ask is that you commit to a short training session to equip you with the necessary skills to have an enjoyable gig buddy experience and undergo a DBS record check.

Availability Details

Our project requires volunteers that are available at least once a month to meet with their buddy. Meeting up can be at any time or day that is suitable for you and your buddy.
