We provide information and support to volunteers, and signpost volunteers with volunteer-involving organisations from the voluntary, community and statutory sector.
We work with volunteer-involving organisations across Portsmouth to advice on good practice in recruiting and supporting volunteers.
We work with the private sector to facilitate employee volunteering and help business fulfill their corporate social responsibility commitment.
If you are interested in volunteering but want more information and advice we run drop in sessions on Tuesday and Thursdays between 1100 am and 2.oo pm on the ground floor of Portsmouth Central Library.

The Portsmouth Together office is based within the Portsmouth Central Library. The office is led by the Head of Volunteering and Social Action and staffed by a combination of employed staff and volunteers.
The Portsmouth Together Team is funded by Portsmouth City Council.
